Oooh, Caitlin I love your way
A sad blue whale, a sad blue whale, a sad blue whale am I
My blowhole choked with tears because my Caitlin soon will fly
To Toronto where there's no ocean only a crappy lake
That's why she should take along a salt shaker to shake
The dolphins weep, the stingrays sulk, the otters hide their eyes
The seagulls scream, the puffins pout, the sea cucumber sighs
The shark smells blood and then attacks the octopuses-pis
The creatures of the sea bemoan their newly joyless lives
When whalers hurl their cruel harpoons, when plankton stocks runs dry
Caitlin makes the ocean safe for small blue whales like I
She's going to Toronto though and won't be back for years
At least the ocean won't dry up thanks to our salty tears
Majestic are the Cablin Cruiser's sails against the sky
Her planks are sound, her jib well-cut, her poopdeck swabbed and dry
Oh! Caitlin, we will miss you! You're the anchor of our lives
A sad blue whale, a sad blue whale, a sad blue whale am I
GOOOOOOOOOD-bye!
